Sedna
Through the body, into presence.
Sedna Presence is a practice space designed to guide you to return to your body, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with the being beneath conditioning.
An embodied path rooted in movement, breath, and awareness.
A journey shaped by inquiry, discipline, and lived experience.
Awareness comes before technique; Technique then refines what Awareness reveals
- Every body and nervous system is different. Rigid bodies need preparation before twists; anxious systems need grounding before expansion. One approach never fits all.
- The Nervous system sets the pace. What works for one may not work for another. Progress emerges through awareness, not force.
- This is awareness-based movement, not posture-driven yoga. The focus is on sensing tension, breath, and patterns rather than achieving shapes.
- The aim is embodied intelligence. Movement becomes stable, fluid, and responsive as awareness deepens.
The Practice Approach
These principles form a natural progression—from grounding the body to refining awareness. Each builds upon the other, guiding you from structure to subtlety, from movement to stillness.
Every session draws from these principles and adapts to what your body needs in the moment.
Alignment & Balance
Learning to sit, stand, and move with minimal effort. We address chronic tension and compensation so the body organizes around balance, breath, and structural ease.
Spinal Strength & Core Integration
The practice strengthens the spine and builds awareness along its full length. Movement originates from the center – navel, diaphragm, pelvic floor – so the spine is supported, resilient, and responsive rather than rigid or collapsed.
Conscious Relaxation
Deep rest allows integration. The nervous system resets, the spine settles, and the body absorbs what it has learned.
Breath & Regulation
Breath reflects the nervous system. We restore natural rhythm before introducing technique. Regulation comes first; pranayama follows as a response, not a force.
Somatic Awareness
The body holds memory and pattern. Through sensing rather than forcing, awareness brings unconscious holding into view. Release follows understanding, not effort.
Coherence through symmetry
We work with left/right, front/back, upper/lower imbalances, orienting the system toward symmetry, coherence, and ease.

- You wish to deepen presence, or you're a guide/practitioner exploring how the body holds and releases emotions and energy.
Voices from the practice space
Slow at First, Deep in the End
I’ve been doing yoga with Sandra for almost two years. When I started, the classes felt very slow sometimes only two or three asanas in a session. I honestly wondered if it was effective.
Over time, I noticed clear changes. On practice days, I slept better, felt more relaxed, and even experienced gentle muscle soreness, which showed me something deeper was happening.
Sandra works with the subtle layers of the body. Her attention to alignment is precise and makes a real difference. What I value most is the spiritual depth she brings through her calm, disciplined presence and the way she explains the deeper purpose of each asana.
My body feels stronger, my posture more upright, and my mind much calmer.
Thank you, Sandra ❤️🙏🏼
A Steady, Grounded Journey
I feel extremely fortunate to have Sandra as my yoga teacher. This journey of over two years has been truly transformative.
Her sessions are well-structured and thoughtfully designed. In the beginning, the focus was on correct alignment and awareness, which slowly opened the door to exploring asanas and transitions with more meaning.
Through her guidance, I’ve learned the importance of posture, weight distribution, stillness, and breathing. The awareness she encourages continues to strengthen my practice and brings balance, calm, and clarity into my daily life.
Noticing the Body More Clearly
Over the years, my sessions with Sandra have made me much more aware of myself. I feel calmer, more flexible, and more connected to my body.
Her one-to-one sessions are especially valuable because they focus on my individual needs. My posture has improved noticeably, my shoulders feel lighter, and my body more aligned and mobile.
Even my walking feels more balanced and stable now. Practicing with Sandra has brought strength, clarity, and ease into my body.
Surprisingly Effective, Even Online
I had a very positive experience practicing yoga with Sandra. I was skeptical about how it would work over Zoom, but she is extremely articulate and attentive. It still surprises me how clearly she can observe my breathing and muscle engagement online.
The breathing exercises have been especially helpful. I now use them when I feel anxious, tired, or unable to sleep.
After almost two years, yoga with Sandra has become a regular part of my life. I even visited her in Calcutta for several days of long, intensive sessions, which were deeply beneficial. My body feels more open and stretched, and I move with much more ease and calm.
